Application Scope:
The forced circulation MVR evaporation crystallizer is mainly used in: salt production industries such as sodium chloride, anhydrous sodium sulfate and potassium salts; high-concentration inorganic wastewater treatment; metallurgical industry; and zero liquid discharge wastewater treatment in environmental protection.
Working Principle:
The forced circulation evaporation crystallizer is a continuous crystallizer with slurry circulation. During operation, the feed liquid is introduced at the lower part of the circulation pipe, mixed with the supernatant liquor from the crystallizer bottom, and then pumped to the heating chamber by the forced circulation pump. The liquid is heated in the heating chamber (typically by 2-6°C) without evaporation, then enters the separator for flash evaporation. The flashed secondary steam is drawn into the compressor for pressurization and temperature increase to improve its enthalpy, then enters the heating chamber to release latent heat through condensation, forming condensate water. The forced circulation evaporator relies on external force - the circulation pump - to achieve forced liquid circulation. Its heating chamber has two structural types: horizontal and vertical, with the liquid circulation rate adjusted by the forced circulation pump.
Main Features:
● Large concentration ratio and forced circulation design enable easy evaporation of high-viscosity liquids;
●Uniform heating through forced circulation prevents dry wall phenomenon in the tubes;
●The liquid enters the separator for enhanced separation effect, giving the entire equipment greater operational flexibility;
●Main drawbacks include large pump flow rate and relatively high power consumption;
●The system has high material holdup and low heat transfer coefficient.
